Applied kinesiology
Views: 313

Applied kinesiology is a technique developed for chiropractic.  It uses changing muscle strength to test for various problems and sensitivities to toxins. It assumes the body is self aware with it's own agenda. AK, as it is referred to, is based on the same principle as muscle testing or dowsing.

Applied Kinesiology, AK, is a form of diagnostic kinesiology, and is distinct from Kinesiology.

Kinesiology is the study of movement.  Some consider AK, applied kinesiology, to be pseudoscientific, and far removed from scientific reality.  In spite of this, AK has its many believers and patients who seek out this form of natural therapy.

AK is often used in conjunction with NET, NOT and other diagnostic techniques.

See:  muscle testing and/or dowsing.
