Submissions Editorial Submissions Thank you for your interest in adding your voice to the pages of Garden of Healing®. We are accepting submissions featuring stories about food, healing, healthcare and similar topics. We're on the lookout for untold stories; new takes on old issues; fresh, funny, intelligent voices; and original investigative journalism. Pieces can be local, national, or international in focus, but should have broad implications for the individual vis-a-vis the global community. Welcome to Garden of Healing® ! We do not publish: fiction; travel narratives; profiles of organizations or accounts of an activity or campaign they sponsored; or press releases. We will publish: features; poetry; meditations on nature; stories that are of interest to local audiences; profiles of food-focused healers and/or accounts of an activity or campaign they forged; and reporting on the growth of the world of organics and the return to nature and all things natural. If you have story ideas; please review our publication for similar pieces and to get a sense of our editorial coverage. Generally, we prefer editorial from natural healthcare and medical professionals, journalists or freelance writers with a track record of published magazine, newspaper and/or web-published articles and books. We reserve the right to edit your submission for content and length. We prefer editorial written in a strong, authoritative, and thoughtful narrative style. While most of our stories are based in the US, we also report on emerging issues taking place around the world. To be considered, please feel free to contact us electronically or by mail. You are welcome to send us published clips (1-2 clips, no more!) or refer us to a website where we can review them. We cannot be responsible for unsolicited manuscripts and photographs.
